Destiny Sterling is a Senior attending Georgia State University majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Educational Psychology. She is interested in researching Domestic Violence, Suicide, and Family Dynamics. She has recently been accepted in Dr. Kevin Swartout’s Violence against Women and Interpersonal Behavior Lab. Destiny also interns for the Grady Nia Project at Grady Memorial Hospital which provides support for individuals who have experienced Domestic Violence and trauma. She is a Dean’s and President’s List awardee. Destiny plans to receive her Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology with a primary focus on Community Psychology. She loves escaping reality by reading Harlequin Romance novels.
