Jasmine S. Jones is an undergraduate Psychology major at Georgia State University. Born and raised in metro Atlanta, she plans to center her research around improving the quality of life for military veterans with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). In her free time, Jasmine enjoys reading and traveling. Jasmine will begin her research this summer in Dr. H. E. Albers’ lab, where she will observe aggression in Syrian hamsters. Jasmine’s long-term career goals include doing research on behalf of the VA Medical Center and launching a nonprofit that will assist military personnel in their transition back to civilian life.
