Summer Opportunity – Apply Early! SMART MIND Program in El Paso, TX

The SMART MIND program will provide a cohort of summer participants with a high-quality experience that combines education, novel research in state-of-the-art facilities, training in bioethics, one-on-one and group mentoring, and training in other relevant professional skills. The research projects will provide each participant with meaningful exposure to research methodology in neuroscience with a strong emphasis in drug addiction studies.  For a list of research projects, visit our website (link below).

Undergraduate Students admitted to the program will receive:

• Approximately $4,400 for 11 weeks
• Fully furnished apartments consisting of 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen and living area (if necessary). Apartments include bed linens, high speed Internet, basic cable package, electricity, gas, water, and refrigerated air (out of the El Paso area participants only)
• Travel reimbursement of up to $600 (out of the El Paso area participants only)

Program dates: May 20- August 3, 2019.  The deadline to apply is February 1, 2019.
