Dear Rhet/Comp folks,

We hope you all are enjoying your summers and/or accomplishing everything on your to-do lists!

In an effort to increase connectivity among Rhet/Comp graduate students and faculty and provide more professionalization opportunities, the Rhet/Comp Group was formed in the spring of 2014. Supported by Rhet/Comp faculty members, we work to identify specific needs of Rhet/Comp graduate students so that they may get the most of their time at Georgia State University.

We encourage you to voice your needs for the 2014-2015 academic school year and look forward to any suggestions you may have. While we, in no way, want to rush your vacation, we would like to begin brainstorming for next year. What events should we plan? What topics would you like to learn more about? We are putting together a small gathering at

Twain’s on Friday, July 11th at 6 pm

to start sharing ideas. We would really love to see you there, if only to say hello! If you can’t make it, however, we encourage you to email us any ideas you hope get brought up in the night’s conversation at rhetcompgroup@gmail.com.
