As we gear up for Indianapolis this year, we know there is an inevitable C’s proposal deadline (May 5th!) awaiting our return (see the recently released CFP for CCCCs 2015 in Tampa). To capitalize on the energy new scholarship gives us, we would like to hold an event that addresses notable rhet/comp conferences generally and allows for workshopping individual proposals specifically, whether those proposals are for C’s or another potential conference. Please see details below:
When: Tuesday, April 15th from 2-3
Where: Troy Moore Library
Who: Rhet/Comp MA and Phd Students and Faculty
Agenda:
- Discuss relevant conferences (20 minutes)
- Workshop proposals with faculty in interest-related groups (30 minutes)
- Organize panels based on common research (10 minutes)
Please feel encouraged to come with conference proposals in any stage of the drafting process. This is an excellent opportunity to receive research-specific feedback, as well as learn what your professors and peers are currently working on. We look forward to seeing you there!

I’ll definitely be there.
