Ms. Flessert completed her Masters degree as a graduate student in the Cognitive Sciences program at Georgia State working with the COMIC lab.
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Conservation Biology. She studied the fetal alcohol effects in rhesus macaque monkeys at the Harlow Center for Biological Psychology. After completing her Bachelors she spent two years as a post-baccalaureate research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health in the Laboratory of Brain and Cognition where she studied face processing in rhesus macaques using fMRI and behavioral techniques.
Her research interests included metacognition, cognitive illusions, and problem solving.
