Study Announcement

We are looking for typically hearing children and deaf children with cochlear implants aged 7-12 years. We invite them to participate in language & learning research sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. Children will wear a sensor net on their scalp. We will measure brain activity while children play computer learning games. We will also measure their language development. Children will visit GSU twice for 1¼ to 3 hours each. Parents of typically hearing children will be given $50 and parents of deaf children $100 per visit. Currently, we are particularly looking for children who have cochlear implants and live in the Atlanta area.
