Ben Brumfield is a Senior Science Writer and Media Relations Representative at Georgia Institute of Technology.

In his role, he is responsible for communicating Georgia Tech’s leading-edge research to technological and scientific communities, to news media, and to the world. Beyond the classroom, Brumfield was a CNN.com reporter who won an Emmy Award for reporting. Brumfield also has two Edward R. Murrow Awards, a Columbia DuPont, four Peabody Awards, and a LA Press Club Award. He was also a network TV science journalist in Germany for German TV networks, which included a science documentary for the Discovery Channel.
