Another successful Research Day in the books! Research Day is our program’s annual celebration of student and faculty research productivity. Our lab had two featured speakers this year:  Michelle Fox gave the Keynote address and Rella Kautiainen spoke about her master’s thesis project. They both did a phenomenal job representing the lab!

Our great group of undergraduate students presented today at PURC, the annual departmental undergraduate conference. Great job, everyone!

Dr. King, the principal investigator of our lab, was recently asked to speak at the Office of the Provost’s “Women Inspire Lecture Series,” which highlights female faculty members from various disciplines doing groundbreaking research at GSU.

Two of our fantastic undergraduate research assistants, Tobi Quadri and Courtney Keeler, presented their summer research projects today at the 2019 Undergraduate Research Symposium. We’re proud of their hard work and thank them for everything they contribute to the lab!

Sabrina Na, our most recent graduate of the lab, was hooded and officially received her doctoral degree this past Monday. Congratulations, Sabrina!

Sabrina Na recently found out that she will be completing her post-doctoral fellowship at the Emory University Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in Atlanta. We are thrilled to have her back in Atlanta after she finishes her internship. Congrats, Sabrina!

One of our graduate students, Michelle Fox, was awarded this year’s Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award!  This award highlights excellence in research and is given to one graduate student from the GSU Psychology Department each year.  Michelle has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has been an exceptionally productive member of our lab. Congrats, Michelle!
