Lab alum, Dr. Eric Semmel, recently accepted an offer to stay on at Mayo Clinic as a Pediatric Neuropsychologist and Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry & Psychology following the conclusion of his fellowship in August 2025. In his new role, he plans to build out a more formalized and integrated clinic with pediatric neuro-oncology (i.e., pediatric brain tumors), and further develop the pediatric inpatient consult service on the epilepsy monitoring unit. We’re so proud of you Eric!

It was great having everyone together to celebrate the end of the semester and kick off the holiday season. Thanks to everyone for their hard work this year and we hope you enjoy the time off.
