Hello and welcome to my homepage! I am a Professor of Mathematics for the online department of Mathematics at Georgia State University Perimeter College. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia in 2004. Prior to that, received an MA in Mathematics from the University of Georgia, an MA in Economics from West Virginia University, and a BS in Mathematics from Hertfordshire University in England.

I have been teaching Online Mathematics and Mathematics education courses using different platforms since 1999. Prior to teaching, worked in the private industry as a Research Analyst.

I am Georgia Governor’s Teaching Fellow in 2011, and recipient of the Georgia Perimeter College Exemplary Professor Award in 2012. I have written two study guides and a self-help book for students on how to be successful in their mathematics journey.

I am a member of the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC), the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), and the Georgia Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (GMATYC). I served as the AMATYC Secretary, and President of GMATYC during the calendar years 2018-2019. Currently, serve as the AMATYC Professional Development Coordinator. I attend and present at various international, national, regional, and local professional conferences.
