Georgia State made the commitment to become a tobacco free campus in 2012. At the time, Georgia State joined more than 600 colleges and universities across the nation committed to creating a healthier environment for employees, students and visitors.
Effective Oct. 1, 2014, the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia adopted a tobacco and smoke-free policy to make all USG institutions 100% tobacco free.
Take the Pledge:
I pledge to support Georgia State’s Smoking/Tobacco Free Campus Policy, share in the responsibility to promote the safety and health of the campus community, and therefore share in the responsibility of enforcement.
