Welcome back faculty, staff, and students!
The coming year will undoubtedly be filled with a variety of engaging events that you will definitely want to know about. To ensure that you do not miss out on any Humanities-based opportunities on the five Perimeter College campuses, please subscribe in the side-bar to the right of this article and receive notifications to the email account of your choice – it is that quick and easy!
While the look of the (hopefully) familiar Humanities Events blog is the same, the website now bleeds blue and has a new GSU affiliated domain address. If you signed up previously (prior to August 1, 2016) you will need to subscribe again to continue to receive information published on this webpage. Archives of the previous Humanities articles are still available (for the time being) at the old domain address.
If you do not want to be contacted every time a new post is updated, you can manage your subscription in your own account. Every GSU faculty, staff, and student already has a sites@gsu (WordPress) account set up for them courtesy of the college. You can start your own blog, personal website, or even join (or start) a class blog by accessing this account using the links provided (use the same username and password that you used to access GSU GoSolar).
If you would rather just bookmark this site and check back at your leisure, to the right you will notice a helpful search option as well as a drop-down menu of categories that will enable you to search for current events per campus or organization.
Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to publicize? Email the site coordinator, Megan Levacy, at firstname.lastname@example.org with the details of your event. All items submitted will be forwarded to the new and improved GSU newsletter (forthcoming) to better assist event coordinators to get the word out about their projects.
Here’s wishing everyone a wonderful fall semester!
