Peach State Opera – Amazing Opportunity – Feb 26

Giacomo Puccini’s “Tosca” is a masterpiece of Italian melodrama and one of the most famous operas in all of Western history. A condensed, family-friendly version in English is being brought to the Clarkston campus! This particular performance features student of the DeKalb School of the Arts choral program.
The Peach State Opera serves small communities in Georgia and surrounding states with productions that are thrilling entertainment, whether you are new to opera or a seasoned pro.
This is a ticketed event, but only $5 with a Panther Card!

Eric Andries, piano

Leanne, Brian and Eric were former graduate school classmates at Louisiana State University. Leanne is now the general director of Opera Louisiane, the opera company in Baton Rouge, LA; Brian is a voice professor and Assistant Chair at Perimeter College; Eric is a coach/pianist for opera companies throughout the Southeast. Join them for the Atlanta area performance of their recital tour – a varied concert of opera arias (by Verdi) and duet (La gioconda), Brahms duets, art song and cabaret, and even a little musical theater.
