Riemann’s Rearrangement Theorem

Garrethe Edge

Riemann theorem details an interesting phenomenon among conditionally convergent series. It presents us with the fact that any series of this nature can be rearranged to converge to any real number. In this presentation we shall review what a series is, how to determine whether its convergent, and how to determine if it converges absolutely or conditionally. We will lastly explore how conditionally convergent series connect to divergent permutations and what theorems follow from those connections.
