Call for Proposals

The Call for Proposals for the 2024 Conference is open!

We are looking forward to proposal submissions from faculty, undergraduate students and graduate students. We are also inviting faculty and students to present during a poster session. Proposals are due by January 12, 2024.

Faculty presentations may be 45-minute full sessions or 20-minute mini sessions. Student presentations (graduate and undergraduate) will be 20 minutes.

Faculty are encouraged to present on topics including, but not limited to:

  • “In” the Classroom – How do you encourage meaningful engagement with your students in various modalities? What strategies have worked for you to improve the scholarship of your students?
  • Faculty Research – Have you collaborated with colleagues or students to pursue research opportunities in the fields of Math, Engineering, or Computer Science? Have you completed SoTL research or research in other fields?
  • Topics of Interest – Many faculty pursue topics that may interest all of us in the MECS fields. We welcome presentations of all types!
  • Students are encouraged to present any research, big or small, that they have completed.
