Week 13
Much of the inspiration for my work is material-oriented. Just looking at all that Malabrigo yarn makes me want to make so many things. Plus, jewel tones and vibrant colors are always my jam.
I don’t usually make or am drawn to three dimensional work that much, but I am really into the soft sculpture shown in the last picture. The figure has a nondescript face, yet is so expressive. I love the way it is posed also.
