Week 9
I loved playing with wooden blocks as a child. I enjoy the way these wooden blocks have been arranged to read kind of like patterns, and I especially like the effect of the composition consisting of circular shapes. It would look awesome in a repeat. As always, I am drawn to vibrant colors, playful vibes, and patchy piecework.
The awesome sculptural piece shown in the bottom left corner was made by Vanessa Barragão, whose work I think I’ve shown some of already in a past post, but she continues to make stuff that really inspires me.
