Problems: using fitting language, employment gaps, do you include things from high school?, too much employment history, do you only include things relevant to the field you are applying within?
-Not too broad “I have people skills”. Language more specific to certain skills for job, finding relevant experiences and presenting it in that way
-focus on skills if you don’t have much work experience
-highlight what you are good at
-can describe roles at former jobs
-if relevant, describe what applications you are fluent in
-downplay what you have less of, highlight your skills
-skills or expertise, qualifications, proficiency
-match skills, present yourself accordingly
-can put relevant course work if minors or electives are relevant but won’t be recognizable if you just put your degree
-don’t be afraid to put service industry jobs
-action words, good adjectives
-little bits of color go a long way
-always about your audience, not you
-header of bulleted lists should be with the list
-file management software, infographics generation, content management
