Spelman consists of many shades and tones of nature, architecture, and people. The eye captures the colors of every aspect of the school grounds. Nature is one of the most noticeable features of the campus. The sunlight makes the environment even brighter. There are many trees that are positioned close together in groups around the buildings and pathways. The land is full of green grass and small batches of dark green bushes. Right by the greenery and brown bark are buildings and structures.
Most of the architecture has rows and patterns of brick with mix colors of red, brown, orange, and grey with ivory lines. Doors are made of clear glass with white frames. Inside the Academic Center’s doors, the building is full of dark smooth brown wood. On a section of the wall there is a large picture of colorful flowers that are purple, yellow, orange, green, blue, and brown. The buildings have classrooms and rooms for students and staff.
The students and staff of Spelman have different skin colors. Most of them consist of a wide spectrum of brown. Some in the beginning of the spectrum range from ivory to beige. The middle range has colors from caramel to cinnamon. And lastly other students differ from chocolate to brown . In conclusion, Spelman has a variety of colors for the environment and people.
