In conclusion, the Atlanta BeltLine is a place that has a goal to simply allow the Atlanta community to be the main part of deciding how money is being made, what acts or laws can be supported, how to develop a social networking site in the form of a large circuit shaped path, and what businesses should be allowed in the area. The positive aspect of the BeltLine is that it is bringing people together and giving them an equal opportunity to be a part of something bigger than them but also is strongly influenced by their actions. It is a chance for Atlanta to become an example of how more democratic actions can be helpful and necessary for a community. The negative aspect is that democracy is not perfect and not everyone agrees with one another. Some people may not want to have certain businesses open or initiatives passed. There is probably a number of people who are totally against what the Atlanta BeltLine stands for all together. When there is good, many times bad things try to take over but the BeltLine is striving and actually growing. It is a great place and I support the goal of pushing people towards being involved in where they live so that we can start being the change we talk so much about.
