Although blogs have been around for over a decade and many students encounter blogs frequently, they can be unsure of what a blog really is when they’re asked to create one. This is especially true for non-traditional students.
Providing a simple introduction video ensures that those students who are slightly confused about what they’re getting into know what’s expected when you say they’ll be blogging.
A great simple (and short) video to share is “What is a blog?” by EduBlogs.
