Revealing

The life of Sneha Anne Philip was considered to be a mystery itself. Sneha reportedly was living a double-life discovered by police and investigators. They identified three particular lesbian bars she spent most of her time at (O’brien). It was also revealed that she spent most nights sleeping over with people she met at bars if not with friends or family (O’brien). Investigators claim that Sneha’s brother referred to as Jon or Kevin stated that he once caught Sneha in a sexual act with his ex-girlfriend at the time (“Sneha Anne Philip: New York Doctor Disappears on September 11th.”). However despite their relationship being rough, the brother claims that the incident never happened and that he never spoke to the investigators.

Additionally, there were apparently issues within the marriage of Sneha and Ron (abbreviated for Ronald). At the courthouse where Sneha had her scheduled court appearance, the couple reportedly fought over her abuse of drugs and alcohol and details of bisexual behavior (Pacheco). Her attorney Marc Bogatin made the remark that “It was not unusual for her to stay away from home over night, returning about 9 a.m. the following day to get ready for work” (Fass). Although Sneha was able to find alternative places to spend the night, she managed to inform Ron prior to doing so but on the evening of September 10th, 2001, she did not mention to Ron that she would not be coming home that night (Pacheco). However it is possible that due to the intermarital complications occurring between the two, Sneha intentionally failed to notify Ron of her whereabouts that night.
