Another cofounding reason as to why death from ground zero in the hope to aid those in suffering is the most sensible explanation as to what occurred on the day of September 11th, 2001 in reference to Sneha Anne Philip, is the alarming proximity between the World Trade Center, Sneha’s apartment, and her workplace. Her and her husband lived in a Battery Park City apartment located in Manhattan, New York (Dunlap). From their apartment to the World Trade Center, it is reportedly four blocks away (Pacheco). After measuring the distance from their one bedroom Battery Park City apartment on Rector Street to the World Trade Center’s twin towers, it was approximately a two-minute drive and a four-minute walk (Gregorian).

Sneha was supposedly very close with her mother, Ansu Philip. “She was my best friend. We talked almost every day,” stated her mother (Sweeney). One of the most bizarre factors involved in this mystery is that on September 10th at 1 p.m., Sneha told her mother via instant messenger that she had plans to visit The Windows on the World restaurant located on the 107th floor of the World Trade Center’s North tower to view the site for a friend’s wedding (Fass). Although she did not express in detail what day or time she had plans to visit the restaurant to her mother, it can be inferred that she mentioned it to her mother because she was soon going to execute that plan.

Sneha Anne Philip was last seen at an upscale shoe department store in Manhattan on September 10th where she spent nearly a total of $600 on shoes, lingerie, a dress, and other clothing garments (McInerney). Astonishingly, the shoe store was positioned directly across from the twin towers (Pacheco).
