Claudia A. Delbasso is a PhD candidate in the Clinical and Community Psychology program at Georgia State University. Her research focuses on individual and contextual factors that influence positive youth development and resilience among immigrants of color, with an emphasis on Latinx immigrant populations. As part of that focus, she is also interested in program evaluation and development. Before pursuing her PhD, Claudia was a research assistant for the National Latin@ Network where she worked on research and program evaluation related to Latinx immigrants’ well-being. She also worked for one year conducting psychological evaluations for court representation assessing extreme and unusual hardship for Latinx immigrants requesting u-visas, waivers, Violence Against Women’s Act (VAWA), or asylum. Claudia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and minors in Spanish and International Studies at Georgia College & State University.
