The book that I purchased from Dr. Bombay’s was Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell. I’ve seen the movie and had other renditions of the book in my collection as well. One thing that stood out to me the most about the book was the smell. The pages smelled like coffee and old newspaper clippings. There’s even a rip going straight thought the middle of the back cover. All of these unique things would make most people put down the book rather than pick it up; however, this made me want the book even more because of the history behind it. It smelled like it had been sitting in the shop for a while because of the coffee scent embedded into each page. It was my favorite trinket from that entire day.
