Digital Writing Assessment

The Digital Writing Assessment takes about an hour to administer. There are multiple items divided into sections. The items measure:  demographic characteristics; computer use in the classroom; computer use in daily life; familiarity with word processing; a typing test to measure speed and accuracy; a short personal narrative task that provides a snapshot of writing skills as well as word processing knowledge; educational goals; writing practices, and motivation and goals for writing development.
