Robin Swett Newberg is a student in the Nursing Ph.D. Program at Georgia State University. She completed an interdisciplinary fellowship at The Georgia Leadership & Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (GaLEND) at Georgia State in 2021. Mrs. Newberg’s research interests are in youth and young adults with autism spectrum disorder as they transition from secondary school health care resources to adult health services in the community. Currently, Mrs. Newberg is a school nurse in Atlanta. She protects and promotes optimal student health to further academic success for all students and acts as a resource and advocate for families in the community. She is a nationally certified school nurse working with students in pre-kindergarten to high school.
