Kristina Miles is a Graduate Research Assistant for SCORRE-M, working on obtaining her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at GSU. Kristina received her associate degree in nursing at Georgia State University and is happy to return for her master’s degree. Kristina earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a concentration in Medical Sociology at Kennesaw State University. Prior to her nursing career Kristina served as an Advanced EMT/ Field training Officer for five years at Grady EMS. 

Kristina currently works at Grady Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse on the Mobile Stroke Unit, the only ambulance of its kind in the southeast. Kristina also works in Grady’s Marcus Trauma Center, Emergency Care Center, and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Kristina is excited and humbled to be a part of the SCORRE-M research team.
