General Assembly
The Legislative Branch of Residence Hall Association is recognized in part as the General Assembly. Members of the General Assembly act as the governing body of the organization and hold several powers including the following:
- Representing their residence hall during General Assembly meetings
- Voting on new legislation presented during General Assembly meetings on behalf of their residence hall
- Presenting new legislation to be introduced in the RHA Constitution and Bylaws
- Presenting amendments to the RHA Constitution and Bylaws
General Assembly meets throughout the Fall and Spring semester.
Requirements To Be Involved In RHA:

Be a residential student of Georgia State University Housing.

If applying to be a Community Council member or to be an RHA Representative for General Assembly you must reside in the Residential Community you are plan to represent.

Have a(n) interest/desire in developing community relations within your Residential Community.

Be available in the evening for meetings and events/programs.
