The Zoukis Research Collaborative on the Politics of Mandatory Sentencing, located in the Department of Political Science at Georgia State University, will hold its second annual Summer Institute from May 31 to June 2. This year’s focus will be on issues concerning juvenile justice and criminal justice reform.
Students participating last year found it to be an incredibly valuable experience.

From the flier: “The three day Summer Institute will feature panels of local experts, including judges, lawyers, activists, law enforcement officials, journalists, and academics from the political science department. Students will also work on collaborative research projects in GSU’s multi‐media CURVE laboratory and leave the institute with a deeper understanding of the normative and academic implications of issues in the United States criminal justice system.”
