Corner of Auburn and Boulevard: Fire Station No. 6

Also on the Corner of Auburn Ave. and Boulevard is the historic Fire Station No. 6, which is a Romanesque revival building and one of the cities eight original fire stations. Inside is an old fire engine and an exhibit on the station. Culturally, this station progressed desegregation by integrating African Americans into the fire department.
