The google doc is very useful because it is a way to keep everything in one place. The first thing that appears on it are the points that you have accumulated over time. My favorite part is that there is not only a grade, but commentary as well for the work that has been done. I find the commentary to be very helpful because it allows me to know what I have to do to improve my work. Sometimes it is hard to receive criticism on our own work because we think it was not good enough, but the criticism is both positive and helpful. The criticism highlighted what I did well, and what needs a bit of work. I did not see the feedback as negative. Now I know what I have to do to improve my summaries and annotated bibliographies. The google doc also allows you to comment on it, so you are able to communicate any concerns or ideas you have with the professor.
