My current research aims to further the language debate in postcolonial studies and address linguistic marginalization in today’s multilingual world. My dissertation project has provided me the opportunity to be in touch with the University of Western Cape’s Multilingual Center and its projects in the field of multilingualism and diversity.

Currently, I am working on an interview series with the writers (Meg Vandermerwe, Sindiewe Magona, and Antjie Krog) whose works I have analyzed in my dissertation.
