On Friday, we will be talking about how to write an essay the Dr. K way! 🙂 See you there!

In WISE English we discussed the Slave Narrative Project. We will be meeting in the WISE lab on Friday to make an avatar, and we will be meeting in the WISE lab on Monday to visit the Slave Ship in SecondLife.
Please remember to visit the Slave Narrative Database to find a slave narrative for your project. You will need to pick a slave narrative before January 25th.

Note about Making Up Work
Many of you may be thinking about making up some work now that you have finished most of your finals. I will be accepting work until the end of finals week, which is Friday.
Of course, Friday, I start my Shabbat, which lasts until Saturday night (so I probably won’t notice if it is turned in sometime on Saturday).
🙂
Merry Christmas! • Happy Hannukah!

English 202 Example Lit Blog
OK. I have been working on a model blog for you to look at for English 202.
It’s not completed yet, but . . . if you want to watch me as I build it, you are welcome to it.
You will find it here.

Final Exam Schedule
Although the Final Exam Schedule does not apply to my classes, I thought it might be nice to have it in a place you can easily find it.
So, here it is: Final Examination Schedule Fall 2011
In Class Writing for Reflection Paper
Your final paper for English 105WS is a reflection paper. Here is the topic. Please spend 30 sustained minutes writing the rough draft, and have it on computer or paper for peer response on Monday.
Think about the writing you have done this semester. What has been the most important lesson you have learned as you have written for this class? How has this been different from other classes you have written for? How do you feel about yourself as a writer?
Please write 1-2 pages for the rough draft, and 2-3 pages for the final.
