Welcome back from the break!

English 106 (non-WISE)

This week we will be working on some basic essay structures.  On Wednesday, we did a diagnostic essay for the English Department.  If you were not present, please submit a 30 minute essay via Engrade “Turn In” for credit on this assignment.  The topic is posted in the Turn in.

On Friday, we will be talking about how to write an essay the Dr. K way!  🙂  See you there!

English 106WS (WISE Sections)

In WISE English we discussed the Slave Narrative Project.  We will be meeting in the WISE lab on Friday to make an avatar, and we will be meeting in the WISE lab on Monday to visit the Slave Ship in SecondLife.

Please remember to visit the Slave Narrative Database to find a slave narrative for your project.  You will need to pick a slave narrative before January 25th.
