Marcel Proust was a french novelist who was born in 1871. He was the author of À la recherche du temps
perdu. All his life he suffered from asthma. In high school he wrote for the class magazines. His mother and father died two years apart from each other and Proust became very heartbroken and stricken with grief. Proust’s style in known to be one of the most original in all of literature. Proust then died of bronchitis and pneumonia in 1922 which had started from a series of asthma attacks.
