Oh, how the tables have turned. Now it’s my turn to take(?) a first impression. Yay!
This isn’t required; I just felt that it was only fair that since you get to judge me, I get to judge you, and you get to read about it.
I’d like to start off with…this opportunity to blog instead of write essays is cool, and also very nerve-wrecking. Why? Because this isn’t an anonymous blog where I journal my life and nobody knows who I am. I still prefer it over writing a bunch of essays, though. I feel like most of the people on here will have something intellectual to say about a post and I’ll just be nodding from behind a screen because that’s all I got. I’ll try to proceed with grace; it’s a unfamiliar way of using a familiar tool and I’m hoping I’ll learn a lot from this.
I feel like most of my readers are going to prefer shorter entries because of reasons, which works out great for me. It’s not because I don’t like to write, but I think of this as a conversation between you and me. So I say a little bit, and you say a little bit back, instead of me going on a monologue. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had my fair share of monologues, thank you, Shakespeare.
Mm.. other than that, I can’t really say I know you, but let’s work on that. Sound good?
