Due Dates are Closer Than They Appear

We have all been hearing that students are not engaging in class and that many are not submitting assignments on time.

Make sure your assignment due dates are connected to the iCollege course calendar. 

Students also don’t use email the same way their instructors do and using email to send assignment deadline reminders may not work as effectively as you’d like. Consider setting up a Remind for your course. You can use the free version for up to 10 classes each with 150 students/class. Slack and GroupMe are also great for group messaging and are platforms many students already use and are familiar with.
