Running with the Rhetoric

Allyson Felix uses her renowned talent to sale a product that has been on the market for decades…..Bounty paper towels. To pick up the rhetoric, the copywriter uses two forms-ethos and pathos to persuade viewers. Ethos is represented by Felix’s present. She is a well known Olympic track star who is admired by many people. Most advertisement is pathos-driven. Dogs are said to make people feel happy so the writer includes a dog in the commercial to appeal to viewers:
