Mafatlane, Gertrude R., Lily C. Fidzani, and Kesitegile S. M. Gobotswang. “Wheelchair Users As Consumers: Accessibility Of Supermarkets In Gaborone, Botswana.” International Journal Of Consumer Studies 39.2 (2015): 94-100. Business Source Complete. Web. 12 Mar. 2016.
Gertrude R. Mafatlane, Fidzani, and Gobotswang wrote, “Wheelchair Users As Consumers: Accessibility Of Supermarkets In Gaborone, Botswana”, describing the different struggles that a handicapped person must face. They gave evidence through an experience of one man who went to a grocery store in a wheelchair. This connects to the interior environment and reveals what barriers there are when shopping inside a common area such as a grocery store. Their purpose is to recognize the issues of society that prevents the disabled from the advantaged. The passage is written for people who are handicapped or are involved with the handicapped as well as those who are interested in understanding what the struggles are. This source is helpful because I am able to obtain an understanding of what the disabled have to face in an interior environment.
