Jennifer Ellen Murphy is a lesbian writer living in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from Arizona, she misses the desert. She received her Ph.D. in Fiction Writing at Georgia State University. Her stories have appeared in The Superstition Review, Breakwater Review, and The Kenyon Review. She is working on a collection of multi-length works examining heteronormative influences on lesbian cultures, a poetry collection thematically driven by cosmological occurrences analogous to the queer lesbian divorce experience, and a novel about stolen or “hot” rocks. She teaches creative writing and composition at Georgia State University and Agnes Scott College and lives and writes from her Atlanta apartment. She can be found @unlikeabledyke on Instagram.
