The labs, which have been created by a geographer-climatologist, also advance the concept of geo-literacy. A geo-literate person has sufficient understanding of Earth systems and interconnections to make good decisions. The three main components of geo-literacy are interactions among natural and human systems, interconnections at different spatial scales, and implications of peoples’ decisions.
