Self Portrait Collage

have previously made collages before, but this is my first self portrait collage, which was more difficult to
put together. I used three different images for the face that represent my facial features – light eyes,
semi-wider nose, even lips. I included blue fabric, cut evenly, to form a top with shinny neckline using a
metallic pipe cleaner. I also included my favorite quick snack and inspirational words/phrases.
Hodgepodge of ‘Failures’

comfortable drawing for the fact that I am afraid of the outcome. I spent a maximum of 15 minutes on
each sketch, without erasing my mistakes, but rather learning from them. Whatever mistakes I have done
in the previous sketch, I made sure not to do in the next sketch. I used the procreate software, using the
HB pencil.
My first three sketches are of a rose. I focused most on the outline of the rose at first. I then added some
shading in the next sketch. On the final rose, I combined the outline work and the shading. For the
second image, I sketched trees. These are surely not my best; I believed these were going to be the
easiest out of the other images, but I was wrong. Lastly, for the last three sketches, I sketched out
lightbulbs. I am more proud of my second sketch of the lightbulb than I am of my first or last.
