I think meme is a form of art because, it is a form of communication through art work. It gives a creative and funny aspect .We express our human creative skills through visual art like the memes. I came up with my meme “Life is Like A Stream It’s Always Flowing” because, no matter what life is always on the move. The internet plays a role in our everyday life because, without internet many people will not be able to function day to day. Many people use the internet as a resource of information. As Leo Tolstoy, stated in the video people communicate with memes through their personal experience and that is considered art.
I really enjoyed reading about Jenny Holzer. She put all her beliefs, and thoughts into her truisms. Jenny Holzer’s, truims can be applied in other people lives and situations. She observed other peoples’ actions and behaviors and came up with many versions of truims. I came up with my own truism, “Tough Times Will Reveal Your True Friends”, because a true friend will stick with you through the good and the bad times, without judgement. People tend to put on a facid to seem as if they will be your friend to the end. When times get tough those same people who you thought were your friend, in the beginning soon disapper. This truism is important to me because, it has taught me a valuable lesson about friendship. A true friend will never leave you, through tough times, no matter what the situation may be. It has also helped me to be aware and how to weed out what a true friend should be.

Sometimes it takes a moment of crisis to realize what is really important. Like, if my house was on fire what would I grab? There are many things that I considered important to me. Some items more than others. The following are important to me because, it is a great part of my life. I would be devastated if I were to lose my dog Classy, in a fire. Classy, has been apart of my life for five years. She’s like a family member to me. She brings comfort and joy to my life and keep me balanced. Another very important item that I would save, would be my my grandmother’s obituary because, her photo reminds me of the fact that she was a nurse and that is constant motivation for me to pursue my dream and her dream for me to become a nurse. My grandmothers obituary, is one of the few picture that I have left of her. She was my inspiration. Whenever I would think of quitting school, she would always remind me that “All things are possible.” The third and last thing, that I would save is the Bible that has been pass down to me from my Aunt. This Bible has been in my family for ten years and my hope is to one day pass it on to my child(ren) and the Bible will continue to be circulated. This Bible has a lot of highlighted scriptures, that has really helped me throughout the years, helping to keep me grounded. Based on these items selected the picture of my grandmother shows I am a loving and compassionate person and that I have strong family values. My Bible demonstrates my faith and religious background. My dog Classy, shows my love for animals although some people may see a dog as a animal ,but she is apart of my family.
Every day I come to work I observe this image . This picture shown above is an image of DeKalb Medical Center. My first impression about this photo is that it gives a positive vibe , the lighting of the building in which it has a warm and calm feeling that you get as soon as you enter into this beautiful building. Looking at this image it makes you feel safe and warm. The type of image shown in this photo is a geometric shape which includes regular and precise images. This photo is telling me there is always a place where you can get good medical attention. This image illustrates, three (3) dimensional art work that has depth and height. I believe this artwork relates to Zhong Biao which include contour lines, that represents silhouette and the important inner shapes of any given form or object. I admire this building because of the design and structure.
In looking at this photo of my family who means the world to me I can relate to the artwork that displays in this picture because without family life can be empty. I believe this photo is telling me that no matter what, family will always be apart of my life. My first expression about this photo how you can love one another no matter what. In viewing our different skin tones and the sizes,seeing that we are all family and have different backgrounds this can be away that we represent art.Just look at our different sizes, some of us or tall,short and in between. Even though we may be different in so many different ways, we as a family represent art quite well. When thinking about art work this will be consider as a two(2) dimensional size painting as it doesn’t have depth but has height and width.I believe this artwork relates to Pieter Bruegel the Elder, because the photo illustrates dramatic contrasts and placement.Upon looking at this picture we noticed that there appears to be irregular lines,because it shows movement and expression.

Art is a tangible expression of a thought or a feeling. Art is simply am means of communicating the ideas and knowledges visually. Art is defined as the expression and application of one’s creativity, typically in the form of something visual. In my opinion, all the things that we see is art not only pictures but also different things that we see in our daily life which has different meaning like music, painting, architecture, movies, and more.
I think my definition of art is very similar to the general qualifier, everything is art depending on how you view it. My first response to a painting is purely visual what attracts me most (in both mine and others) is strong contrast, color, and texture. The beauty of art is not simply something that can be seen, but that it is something which can experienced.
Hi everyone, my name is Danethia Campbell. I am 25 years old, originally from Orlando,Florida. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2014 . I have a younger brother who I admire and love dearly. I have been employed at DeKalb Medical Center for two years, where I work as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) on a medical unit. I have gained so much experience working as a PCT, which I believe this is helping me to move forward in my career. I have been a student here at Georgia Perimeter College four semesters and I am so excited about continuing my education and achieving my goal of becoming a nurse.
My major is Nursing, because I love helping people. It is my passion and I love knowing that I can make a difference in someone’s life. My career plan after completing Nursing school, is to continue to work for DeKalb Medical on a Medical unit and eventually transfer to the Emergency Department or Mother Baby, to gain more experience. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, traveling, shopping and any outdoor activities.
