Overview
This assignment requires you to analyze three different website taglines and assess their effectiveness.

What Is a Tagline? 
A tagline is a reiterated catchphrase or slogan used to identify or promote a product or service (sometimes an individual or company). Typically, a tagline 

  • is concise and memorable
  • succinctly communicates the central or most important message about a product or company
  • aims to create an image that people can easily remember
  • is catchy and sometimes humorous 

For example, Nike’s “Just do it” is a tagline everybody is familiar with.

Step 1. Find three taglines
You need to find three taglines for three different websites. Please note: these taglines have to be website taglines. 

Step 2. Analyze the taglines
For each tagline, analyze the following: 

  • What product, service, or company this website is promoting (please provide the website url)
  • What audience the website is intended for
  • What main message this tagline conveys and whether that is the right message
  • In what way this tagline does or does not effectively promotes the product, service, or company

Step 3. Organize your analysis
You’re free to decide how you want to organize your analysis. An easy way is to organize your analysis according to each tagline in terms of its

  • Description of the product, service, or company
  • Intended audiences and purposes
  • The effectiveness of the tagline

Step 4. Post your analysis
Post the analysis on the Tagline Analysis page you already created. 

Technicalities
Your analysis should be 500-1000 words.
