Overview
For this project, you’ll be responsible for leading the discussion of one or more readings. You’ll prepare a handout that summarizes the readings and act as the discussion facilitator in class.

Written Handout
Prepare a 1-2-page written handout that summarizes the readings. Your summary doesn’t necessarily have to be in paragraph format. An outline of the major points from the readings is perfectly ok. If the reading has a major argument, make sure you include that argument in the summary. Email the summary to me in advance so that I can distribute it to class.

In-Class Presentation
You should start your presentation by presenting a succinct 2-5-minute summary of the readings. Since you will have already distributed your written handout, a presentation file is helpful but not necessary.

Discussion Facilitation
For the discussion of the readings, you will act as the facilitator. Prepare some good questions to lead the discussion. Make sure the discussion covers the major points of the readings.

Some Technicalities
Time limit: The whole discussion of the readings, including your summary presentation, should be limited to somewhere around 10-15 minutes.
File name: Save your reading summary as “Reading(YourLastName)” and email it to me as an attachment.
