Class format: online asynchronous
This is an online asynchronous class, meaning we don’t have set class meeting times. I might have occasional meetings to answer questions, much like office hours. Attendance for these meetings are NOT mandatory, although I would certainly highly recommend your attending them.

Your reading responses will be based on the following text:

• Lynch, Patrick J. and Horton, Sarah. Web Style Guide: Basic Design Principles for Creating Web Sites. Yale University Press. ISBN 978-0-300-13737-8.

The chapter number you need to read for each week corresponds to the week number of the semester. For example, for week 1, you should read and complete your response to Chapter 1. Your last reading response is for chapter 12, which you should complete in week 12. This is detailed in the instructions for weekly modules.
