We Give Books

Are you looking for a new source of books for your PreK classroom?  Look no further than We Give Books.  Since 2010, We Give Books has provided an opportunity to read children’s books online.  Many books are available for everyone, while the remainder require a user to create a free account.  At We Give Books, you will find books by well known authors such as Ezra Jack Keats and Jan Brett as well as less familiar authors.

Read-Give-Share-300x250-30de3a4535661343e0ca6eefc9708a1bReadProviding an avenue for reading online is just one part of the mission of We Give Books.  The organization is committed to improving literacy rates in communities around the world.  For every book that is read online, We Give Books donates a book.  So far, almost 4 million books have been put into the hands of children.  The web site also offers an opportunity to make monetary donations, though a donation is not required to read books online.

Think of We Give Books as your digital library with a heart.
