Summer Literacy Project
This summer, AUA will provide a summer camp to children living in an apartment complex close to the Georgia State University campus. We want to engage kids in learning about how plants grow by planting, watering, and observing tomato plants. We also want to engage our potential participants in reading multicultural literature about foods from various cultures as well as honor their own funds of knowledge by engaging them in writing about and collecting recipes for their favorite dishes.
